Interested in bringing technology home? For new construction, please contact us as early as possible in the planning stage. This is the time to tell us how you want your new home to work and sound. During our first meeting, we will guide you through different products and systems according to your needs and wants, give our best advice and recommendations, and begin to show you how we can implement your desires into a tangible, working product.
Upon contracting Kansas Audio Video for implementation of your home system, we will design a complete blueprint and working schedule contoured for your new home. This will pave the way to a successful integration done on time the first time.
How and when are things done? Most projects involve 3 major phases. Rough-in, Trim-out and Final Install. The usual time for us to begin with the rough-in installation is before the electrician is done. A walk through of the home with the client and builder occurs to allow us to make sure all plans are still correct, and to mark all exact locations of cable, phones, keypads, speakers, etc. Trim out is completed after drywall is finished. Final installation involves actually placing equipment, testing and tuning systems. This will take place when most subcontractors are finished, but usually before the client moves in. The only remaining step is to teach the client any directions in using the new home systems, and making sure everything is functioning according to spec.
