Kansas Audio Video is a designer and installer of Structured wiring home network systems. The SMC, Structured Media Center, is the heart of a wired home. These panels come in many sizes, from a basic 12" box to a larger 50" housing. This is the point where all low-voltage home wiring (RF cable, telephone, networking, whole home audio/video, etc) and control devices are housed. As long as your home is wired or "future-proofed" to the SMC, you can save a great amount of time and money in future home upgrades. These panels are designed and installed uniquely to each home, and are set up to tailor any of your certain needs. Below are some examples of common SMC configurations.
Basic Distribution System
The most basic system which is great for clients only needing basic television and phone. It is capable of delivering RF (cable) to up to 4 locations, and distributes 2 telephone lines up to 6 locations.

Standard Service Module
Includes 19" panel, 8 output RF module, telecom distribution for 8 telephone locations, each up to 4 lines with security link port.

Expanded Service Modules
This 19" SMC includes distribution for up to 8 RF locations, 8 telephone locations, each up to 4 lines, and adds networking capabilities with hub distribution modules for up to 5 computer/network locations. For high speed internet, just add a cable modem, etc at the panel location.

Advanced Service Modules
This 30" SMC is by far our most popular and common system for the new home builder. With this panel we can integrate all RF video sources, telecom distribution, an advanced home networking system, even whole home audio and speaker systems. This panel allows plenty of space for extra wiring and future upgrades.
